Wicker – Knit at Nite Screening
The UNITED presents the November Knit at Nite film series screening featuring the steamy new romantic fantasy Wicker. Knit at Night is a monthly cozy-meets-cinema series where the lights stay a little brighter and you are invited to bring your knitting, crocheting, or fiber project of choice and settle in for a communal screening designed for makers. In the film, an ostracized fisherwoman (Olivia Coleman) commissions the local basketmaker (Peter Dinklage) to weave her a husband (Alexander Skarsgard), but when her wicker creation proves unexpectedly extraordinary, his presence ignites jealousy and upheaval that threatens their quiet village.
