Join us for a fun, inspirational, 6-week workshop on the art and craft of writing personal narrative/essay/memoir, for all levels of writers. The course focuses on the fundamentals of creating a gripping, poignant short narrative from your own life experiences. As part of a community of fellow writers, you’ll workshop your work — various short exercises and prompts, as well as a more polished memoir of up to 3,500 words — and receive helpful, constructive criticism from classmates and the instructor. Expect to spend a couple hours on outside reading per week, in addition to time spent on your own writing.

Sponsored by the Ocean Community YMCA and hosted by the United Theatre.
