Seating for this event is general admission in the Black Box theatre - seating is guaranteed but location is first come first serve.

The UNITED and Literacy Volunteers of Washington County are delighted to invite you to StoryCorps: A Conversation with Dave Isay. StoryCorps has been devoted to collecting and preserving American stories for over twenty years, reaching 11 million listeners on NPR’s “Morning Edition” every week. These recordings are collected in the U.S. Library of Congress and StoryCorps’ digital archive, which is now the largest single collection of human voices ever gathered.

Dave Isay, founder of StoryCorps, has won six Peabody Awards, a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship, and the 2015 TED Prize for his work. Listen to Dave share his story, and stories from the StoryCorps archives that will move and inspire you. Be prepared to laugh, to cry, to wonder – and to celebrate our shared humanity.

Select VIP tickets are available for purchase and include a meet & greet and reception following the event (please note that this reception is only open to those who purchase VIP tickets)
