Show Compassion Through Fashion

Knickerbocker Music Center
Join us for “Show Compassion Through Fashion – the Bulldog Boutique Fashion Show at the Knick. This is a FREE event. Every look on the runway is styled from the Bulldog Boutique, a free resource at Westerly High School that provides students with clothing – no questions asked – when they need it most, whether it is everyday wear or for special moments like prom dresses and tuxedos. This event is presented by WHS Senior Ocean Lombard in partnership with MADD and WHS VAASA. MADD will be serving a special, complimentary mocktail during the event in honor of Michael DePaola. This event is completely free. If you are able to bring a clothing donation for the boutique it would be greatly appreciated, but is not required.
The Bulldog Boutique at Westerly High School ensures every student has access to clothing—free of charge, no questions asked. From everyday essentials to tuxedos and prom gowns, the Boutique reflects the spirit of our school mascot and serves as a space where students feel seen, supported and confident. By removing the financial barriers that too often limit opportunity, the Bulldog Boutique empowers students to show up as their best selves. Supported by generous donations from community members and high-end bridal boutiques alike, the Bulldog Boutique has grown into more than a collection of clothing. As her senior project, Ocean Lombard is proud to host a fashion show made from looks entirely from The Bulldog Boutique that brings this mission to life. The event will raise awareness about clothing insecurity, highlighting this amazing resource available to students when they need them most, and celebrate confidence through style—especially during prom season, when access to formalwear can make all the difference!
Please note that the Knick no longer has a working kitchen. Pre-packaged concession snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase (cashless payments only) as well as a specialty mocktail created in collaboration with MADD.
