Roots Music Stomp – Franco-American Fiddling with Donna Hebert

Join us for the November edition of Roots Music Stomp – hosted by Craig Edwards and this month featuring Franco-American fiddler Donna Hebert.

Donna’s half-century of fiddling encompasses her founding contributions to the New England Contradance revival as a member of the band Yankee Ingenuity, decades of leading the Philadelphia Folk Festival’s youth fiddle orchestra The Great Groove Band, her work with an older generation of Franco-American fiddlers, and much more. She’s one of the most respected fiddle teachers in the country, and her “Fiddling Demystified” approach to teaching has opened the door to traditional fiddle to countless musicians.
