Pride and Prejudice – Knit at Nite Screening

The UNITED presents the April Knit at Nite film series screening featuring Greta Gerwig’s 2019 adaptation of Little Women starring Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, Timothée Chalamet, and Meryl Streep. Knit at Night is a new monthly cozy-meets-cinema series where the lights stay a little brighter and you are invited to bring your knitting, crocheting, or fiber project of choice and settle in for a communal screening designed for makers. Join fellow fiber artists before the movie from 6:30-7pm in the UNITED Gallery space to share projects, mingle, and make new friends. In the years after the Civil War, Jo March lives in New York and makes her living as a writer, while her sister Amy studies painting in Paris. Amy has a chance encounter with Theodore, a childhood crush who proposed to Jo but was ultimately rejected. Their oldest sibling, Meg, is married to a schoolteacher, while shy sister Beth develops a devastating illness that brings the family back together. Watch the trailer here.
