After a sell-out show in 2024, Emmy and Peabody Award Winning comedian and actor Paul Mecurio (The Daily Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) returns to the UNITED stage with his critically acclaimed PERMISSION TO SPEAK – a fully improvised night of hilarious and jaw-dropping stories from audience member led and curated by Mecurio himself.    

What is Permission to Speak? A HILARIOUS mix of Paul’s Emmy Award-winning stand-up, crowd work and theater. But it’s crowd work you’ve NEVER experienced before – the audience is NOT the butt of the joke, rather it’s the STAR – by allowing them to tell their fun, wild stories if they so choose or to just watch, either way everyone will have a ball!
