My Name is Pauli Murray – Screening and Discussion

As part of our Black Voices series and to commemorate Pride Month, the UNITED and Westerly ARC present a screening of the film My Name is Pauli Murray, followed by a post-film discussion led by LGBTQ and women’s rights advocate Diane Goldsmith. The film is a look at the life and ideas of Pauli Murray, a non-binary Black lawyer, activist and poet who influenced both Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall.
