Mad Max: Fury Road – Big Screen Society
The UNITED presents a Big Screen Society film series screening of George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road. The fourth installment of Miller’s Mad Max series, and arguably the greatest and most epic, Fury Road is a post-apocalyptic saga centered on the wasteland warrior Furiosa (Charlize Theron) as she rebels against a tyrannical ruler in search for her homeland with the aid of a group of female prisoners, a psychotic worshipper, and a drifter named Max (Tom Hardy). Noted for its use of grand setpieces, practical effects, and stuntwork, Miller’s vision is one of the most intense and visceral on-screen experiences ever put to film.
