This album release show is designed as an intimate, seated experience at the UNITED, where songs are given space to breathe and stories are shared in their truest form. Blending folk textures with cinematic arrangements, Birds explores themes of longing, release, and the fragile beauty of becoming. The night will include a live performance of the album, along with moments of conversation and reflection.
Album description from Lucas Neil:
Birds was created slowly, the songs were born out of a long season of listening to my life, to my doubts, and to the quiet moments in between the ups and downs. I wanted to honor that by recording them in a way that felt just as patient and honest. We tracked everything to tape, played together in the room, and tried not to fix what didn’t need fixing. I didn’t want perfection. I wanted presence. This record is about everything I’ve ever felt and also nothing at all, it’s mostly just a happening between my heart and my musical family.
