Food Waste 101 – Yellow Farmhouse

Please join us at the UNITED Table as the education team at the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center provides an introduction to food waste issues and ways to think about solutions. Food waste is a critical problem that not only contributes to environmental degradation but also exacerbates food insecurity. This program provides insights into where waste occurs along the food supply chain—from farm to table—and empowers individuals and communities to implement systems thinking for meaningful change.

Moderated by: Jen Rothman, Executive Director of Yellow Farmhouse
Featuring: Eric Dawson, Director of Food Innovation Lab | Matt Durham, Director of Food System Education | Sara Edlin, Director of Community Engagement

The UNITED Table series is a new culinary entertainment series presented by The United Theatre to celebrate the food we eat and the creative, hardworking people who take the care and thought in preparing and presenting that food, preserving its history, and filling our lives with the tastes, smells, and experiences that bring people together. Through conversations, tastings, book talks, food fests, and screenings from the culinary cineverse, The UNITED Table invites you to pull up a chair. Bon appétit!
