Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Knit at Nite Screening

The UNITED presents the June Knit at Nite film series screening featuring Audrey Hepburn’s iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961). Knit at Night is a new monthly cozy-meets-cinema series where the lights stay a little brighter and you are invited to bring your knitting, crocheting, or fiber project of choice and settle in for a communal screening designed for makers. Join fellow fiber artists before the movie from 6:30-7pm in the UNITED Gallery space to share projects, mingle, and make new friends. Based on Truman Capote’s novel, this is the story of a young woman in New York City who meets a young man when he moves into her apartment building. He is with an older woman who is very wealthy, but he wants to be a writer. She is working as an expensive escort and searching for a rich, older man to marry. Watch the trailer here.
