BLUEBIRD – Documentary Screening

To kick off our new partnership with The Bluebird Cafe, the UNITED proudly presents a special screening of the documentary film BLUEBIRD and a live conversation with Erika Wollam Nichols, President and GM of The Bluebird Cafe. This event is part of the UNITED’s Nashville North initiative and will feature a pre-screening reception at 6:30pm with live music from singer/songwriter Kara McKee.
The Bluebird Cafe’s documentary BLUEBIRD tells the origin stories of megastars like Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift, while following emerging singer-songwriters as they chase their dreams inside The Bluebird Cafe, an accidental landmark that altered the course of music history. The film is directed by Brian A. Loschiavo.
The UNITED’s “Nashville North” initiative is a dynamic cultural exchange bringing Country and Americana music to Rhode Island from around the U.S. and celebrating Nashville’s iconic music scene through a series of educational, artistic, and performance programs from partners in Nashville and beyond.
