Big Band Benefit Concert
Join us for a jam -packed night of jazz and swing as several local big bands take the United’s main stage for the first-ever “Big Band Benefit Concert!” Proceeds and donations from the show will go directly to local school music programs including the Music School @ The United Theatre.
Three locally-based big bands will play back to back with special in-between performances from the students of the music school’s jazz ensemble. Local community groups “Time and Changes Jazz Orchestra” and “As Time Goes By” open up the concert followed by a closing set from the prestigious “New London Big Band.” It will be a night of music you will not want to miss!
