The Westerly Performing Arts Tour

The Westerly Performing Arts Tour is a guided, 90-minute experience for young performers ready to explore everything our downtown arts scene has to offer. Visit three cornerstone organizations, The UNITED, The Granite Theatre, and The Chorus of Westerly, and get an inside look at how they train, present, and collaborate to bring the performing arts to life year-round.

Along the way, you’ll hear directly from artists and educators about classes, performance opportunities, and how you can get involved in the season ahead.

We begin under The UNITED marquee with a behind-the-scenes tour of the theatre and its music school, where you’ll learn about its world-class training programs for a wide range of ages, skill levels, and instruments. 

From there, we head through the scenic paths of Wilcox Park to the Granite Theatre, where you’ll step onstage and learn how theatre training builds confidence, strengthens communication skills, and supports overall academic and personal growth.

The tour continues up the road to Kent Hall, home of The Chorus of Westerly, where you’ll learn about its nationally recognized choral training programs and how singers of all ages build musicianship, vocal technique, and ensemble artistry. We’ll wrap up back downtown, ready for you to take the next step in your performing arts journey.
