Roots Music Stomp Holiday Edition

Join us for a special holiday edition of Roots Music Stomp – a monthly series of performances hosted by Craig Edwards, who has been called “A walking encyclopedia of American Roots Music.” December’s special program will feature guests the Vox Hunters, Armand Aromin and Benedict Gagliardi, a powerhouse duet from Providence, RI (https://thevoxhunters.com/home), and Anayis Wright, Pawcatuck-based traditional folk singer and sailor (https://anayiswright.com/). The theme will be Songs for the Turn of the Year- but not standard carols. Medieval carols, wassailing songs, sailor songs of Christmas and winter, fiddle tunes for Breaking Up Christmas, maybe a bit of a Mummer’s Play, and much more.
TICKET NOTE: This event is in the post credits event and gallery space at the UNITED. This is a general admission event with limited, first-come first-serve seating.
