Michael DePaola Literary Salon & Open Mic (July)
Join us for the second Michael DePaola Literary Salon & Open Mic, hosted by Jessica P. Wick and featuring guest readers C. S. E. Cooney, Carlos Hernandez, and Michael McGuire! Thrill to an evening of excellent storytellers and poignant turns of phrase; a miscellany of works both mythic and moving. If you’re a poet, playwright, storyteller, dust off your vocal cords and sign up for the poetry & prose open mic. (Yes, acoustic musicians are welcome!)
Sign up by arriving early at the start of the event (in-person sign-up sheet will be available) to ensure you have a slot for the open mic portion of the evening and let us know what you’re interested in sharing: poetry, prose, a scene or monologue from a player, a song from your heart. Each open mic participant will get 5-7 minutes to fill! Snacks can be purchased at theater concessions. Drinks will be available as well.
