Fun-Raiser with the Sue Menhart Band – Benefiting Always Home

Join us for a night of live music from the Sue Menhart Band to benefit Always Home in Mystic as part of the UNITED Fun-Raiser Concert Series. Mystic native Sue Menhart is a blues/jazz/soul singer-songwriter and recording artist with two albums, two EPs, and multiple singles. Sue has also contributed over the years to compilation albums and collaborated with musicians throughout New England. Her vocal style has been compared to Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi and Diana Krall. Join us for an intimate acoustic evening filled with fresh new songs from her upcoming album, along with her past catalogue. Also an author, Sue will have copies of her memoir, “They Made Me Play a Polka,” on hand.
The Fun-Raiser series brings together local bands and local charities. This is an opportunity to stop by after work and listen to some great tunes, all to benefit a local charity. A cash bar will be available. The doors open at 6 and the band plays at 6:30 p.m.
